Single Rolfing® Session

Whether you're experiencing Rolfing® for the first time or returning for additional work, a single session offers personalized attention to your body's unique needs. Together, we'll explore patterns of tension, posture and movement, with the goal of supporting greater comfort, balance and ease in everyday life.

A Session Designed Around You

Through attentive touch, thoughtful assessment and collaborative exploration, we'll work with the relationships between different areas of your body. Rather than focusing only on where you feel tension, we'll consider how your body functions as a whole and how lasting improvements in comfort and movement may be supported.

No two bodies are alike, and no two Rolfing sessions are exactly the same. Each session is tailored to your individual needs, whether you're addressing a specific area of discomfort, exploring changes in posture or simply looking for greater ease and freedom in your movement.

Your session begins with a conversation about your goals, concerns and how you've been feeling in your body. I may observe your posture, walking or other everyday movements to better understand patterns of tension and how different areas of your body work together.

During the hands-on portion of your session, you'll typically rest on a padded treatment table while I use gentle to firm, sustained pressure to work with your body's connective tissue, or fascia. I may also invite you to make small movements or notice changes in sensation as we work together. Your feedback helps guide the session.

Integration & Awareness

Toward the end of our time together, we'll revisit how you feel standing or moving and explore any changes you notice. Depending on your needs, I may suggest simple ways to bring greater awareness and ease into your everyday activities, helping you carry what you've experienced beyond the session.
