Preparing for Your Session
Every session at Connected Body is an opportunity to explore how you move, feel and relate to your body. Whether you're coming for Rolfing® Structural Integration, Rolf Movement® or The Roll Model® Method, a little preparation can help you feel comfortable and get the most from our time together.
A Personalized Approach
We'll begin by discussing your health history, physical concerns and goals. Depending on the session, I may observe your posture and movement while standing, walking or sitting to better understand how your body functions as a whole.
Our work together is guided by your individual needs, with opportunities for you to ask questions, share feedback and participate in the process.
What to Wear
For hands-on Rolfing sessions, please bring or wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement and postural assessment. Suitable options include a sports bra and shorts, a tank top and shorts, a swimsuit or comfortable undergarments.
For movement-focused sessions, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is recommended. Specific preparation may vary depending on the service you've scheduled.
Movement & Virtual Sessions
Rolf Movement® and The Roll Model® Method offer opportunities to develop greater awareness of how you move, recognize habitual patterns and explore new possibilities for comfort and ease.
If you're attending virtually, choose a comfortable space where you can move without unnecessary distractions. Additional guidance or recommended props may be provided according to the session you've booked.
After Your Session
My intention is not only to support change during our time together, but also to help you develop a deeper understanding of your body and how it moves.
The awareness and insights you gain can become part of your daily life — whether you're working, exercising, resting or simply moving through your day.
