Advanced Rolfing® 5-Session Series

Completing the Rolfing 10-Series can bring meaningful changes in how your body feels and moves. Yet some longstanding patterns of tension and restriction may persist, while other areas may benefit from more focused attention.

And life happens. New injuries, surgeries and joint replacements can change how your body feels, moves and adapts. Whether you’ve recently completed your 10-Series or finished it years ago, new challenges can arise, familiar patterns can return and your body’s needs may evolve.

For those that have completed the 10-series, the Advanced 5-Session Series offers an opportunity to build on your previous Rolfing experience, address current concerns and explore greater comfort, mobility and freedom of movement.

Melissa Schneider provides hands-on Rolfing® Structural Integration to a client lying on a treatment table, working with the hip and leg to explore patterns of tension and movement.

A Personalized Approach to Deeper Work

Like the traditional 10-Series, the Advanced Series is tailored to your individual needs. However, rather than following the established progression of the 10-Series, these five sessions are organized around your current goals and Melissa's assessment.

Together, you and Melissa identify areas that would benefit from further exploration. The work unfolds over five sessions, providing time to address deeply ingrained patterns, explore relationships between different parts of the body and give additional attention to areas that may not have received as much focus during the original series.

The Advanced Series also provides an opportunity to address changes in your body and movement patterns that have developed since completing the 10-Series.

Why Five Sessions?

The Advanced 5-Session Series is a distinct body of work that builds on the foundation established through the traditional Rolfing 10-Series. These five sessions provide an opportunity to explore persistent patterns more deeply, give sustained attention to areas that need further work and respond to changes that have developed since completing the original series.

Each session builds upon the previous work, giving Melissa time to revisit areas of restriction, explore new possibilities for movement and support improvements that may take time to develop.
